A house move has more variables than an apartment move: a garage full of tools, a basement nobody has emptied since 2014, a shed, a deck set, and a family that still has to sleep somewhere that night. We size the crew and truck to finish in one day whenever the inventory allows, because a two-day house move costs you far more than the extra mover would have.
The inventory call covers every room including the spaces people skip. Garage shelving, lawn equipment, the chest freezer, patio furniture, and the contents of the crawl space all take truck volume and all take time. With an honest list we can tell you whether a 20-foot truck does it in one trip or whether a 26-footer saves you two hours of driving back and forth across town.
On move day the crew protects the path first: floor runners on hardwood and carpet, padding on door jambs and stair rails, and corner guards at the turns. Furniture is disassembled only as far as it needs to be, wrapped, and loaded heavy-to-light so nothing shifts on I-25 or the Sixth Avenue ramps. Appliances are disconnected if they are simple plug-and-valve setups; gas lines we leave to a licensed technician and will tell you that up front.
At the new house we place furniture where you want it, not where the truck door happens to be. Beds get reassembled, boxes go to the rooms marked on the label, and we break down and haul away the used wardrobe boxes at no charge. If a piece does not fit through a doorway the way it came in, the crew has hoisting straps and door-removal tools on the truck.
From $199/hr, 3 movers and a 20 ft truck, 3-hour minimum. Labor is billed in 15-minute increments once the 3-hour minimum is met.

All labor is billed in 15-minute increments after a 3-hour minimum. Truck and equipment fee is quoted per job, never hidden inside the hourly line.
Most three-bedroom homes in the metro can, with a four-mover crew and a 26-foot truck, provided packing is finished before we arrive. Four-bedroom homes with full garages and long driveways sometimes run into a second day, and we will flag that risk in the written estimate rather than discover it at 6 PM.
Clothing can stay in a solid wood dresser if the piece is sturdy. Anything with glass, liquids, jewelry, or documents should come out, and particle-board furniture must be emptied because the joints fail under load. We bring wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes.
