Apartment moving in Denver is a logistics problem before it is a lifting problem. A LoDo high-rise gives you a two-hour freight elevator reservation and a single loading bay shared with three other tenants that morning. A Capitol Hill walk-up gives you a 1920s stairwell with a landing too tight for a queen box spring. We plan for the building first, because that is what actually decides whether the job takes four hours or seven.
Before move day we contact your property manager, reserve the elevator or loading zone in your name, and send the certificate of insurance in whatever format the management company demands. If the building requires masonite floor protection or elevator pads, we bring them on the truck. If parking is street-only, we measure the distance from the truck to your door and tell you honestly how that long carry affects the hourly total instead of surprising you with it later.
Inside the unit the crew wraps upholstered furniture in stretch film and moving blankets, disassembles bed frames and removes legs from tables, and boxes loose items in the closets that always get forgotten. Mattresses go in bags, TVs go in padded crates, and anything with a glass panel gets cornerboard. Small apartments reward tight packing: the fewer trips down that stairwell, the lower your bill.
Most studios and one-bedrooms finish inside the three-hour minimum. A two-bedroom with a storage cage and a full balcony usually runs four to six hours with a three-mover crew. We will tell you which bracket you land in during the inventory call, and if we think a bigger crew will cost you less overall because of a slow elevator, we say so.

All labor is billed in 15-minute increments after a 3-hour minimum. Truck and equipment fee is quoted per job, never hidden inside the hourly line.
Yes. Send us the property management contact or the COI requirements sheet and we file it directly, usually within one business day. Most Denver high-rises want a specific additional-insured wording, and we have filed with the large downtown managers many times.
The crew starts staging in the hallway and lobby where allowed, and we keep working the moment the elevator frees up. Because we reserve the slot in advance, this is rare, but if a building delay pushes you past the estimate we document the cause on the job ticket.
Regularly. Stairs are billed at the same hourly rate, not as a surcharge. We do ask about stair count and landing turns during the inventory call so we bring the right crew size and avoid a two-person team fighting a sofa for an hour.
